The 2016 AHRI Conference - Call for Papers
The 2016 International AHRI Research Conference will take place on 2 - 3 September 2016 at the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights (SIM) of Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
The title of the conference is: "50 Years of the Two UN Human Rights Covenants: Legacies and Prospects".
The conference will serve as a platform for presenting international human rights research across different disciplines. The Conference will have six thematic tracks:
- Indivisibility and interactions of norms and regimes,
- Citizenship, migrants and refugees,
- Non-state actors and human rights,
- EU and human rights,
- The global economy and human rights,
- New avenues in human rights research.
AHRI is a network of over 50 member institutions that carry out research and education in the field of human rights. AHRI's objective is to bring together human rights researchers from across various disciplines, to facilitate the exchange of ideas and collaboration, and to promote research, education and discussion in the field of human rights.
